Anna built her professional career within SOCOTEC, a company where she started as a Structures Consultant in the Barcelona office before moving to Madrid in 2007 to help establish a new office, taking on the roles of Consultant, Project Manager and later Bids Manager. As a practicing Structures Consultant, Anna was involved in all stages of the design process – from competition input and concept development to detailed design, site supervision, and completion. She has worked on diverse building types, including projects such as Paseo del Óvalo in Teruel (David Chipperfield Architects) and BBVA Headquarters in Madrid (Herzog & DeMeuron).
As a Project Manager, she coordinated MEP and structural engineering design and oversaw construction to ensure timely delivery. Notably, she managed the first four WeWork co-working buildings in Madrid. In 2018, Anna moved to the International Business Development team and relocated to London, focusing on expanding opportunities, particularly in the KSA market. As part of the Business Development team, she actively participated in securing multidisciplinary opportunities in KSA, such as Trojena Ski Village Resort in Neom, in the mountains of Saudi Arabia, with Aedas architects.
Anna combines her role with her passion for teaching. She is currently a Lecturer and Technical Tutor at the Architectural Association (AA) and Central Saint Martins (CSM). She has recently been appointed as an external examiner at Oxford Brookes School of Architecture and has received multiple awards for teaching excellence at IE University. In 2014–2015, she was named Best Teacher at the IE School of Architecture, and in 2015–2016, she received awards for the courses Physical Foundations in Architecture, Structural Types, and Structural Calculation.
As Operations Director at Forensx, Anna liaises with technical discipline leads, reporting to the Partner – Technical on workloads, deadlines, output quality, staffing needs, skills gaps, and business development, while also supporting experts in producing high-quality, well-structured reports and ensuring complex project documentation is effectively managed so that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
As part of the Technical Expert Witness team, Anna has prepared and delivered several high-quality reports, consistently meeting the highest professional standards.
